Building Officials’ Association Act

The Building Officials’ Association of British Columbia is governed by the Building Officials’ Association Act. This Act specifies that the Association assists in developing and maintaining building regulations, promote their uniform interpretation, and provide training and certification for building officials, according to B.C. Laws.

Executive Code of Conduct

The purpose of the Executive Code of Conduct is to protect the public interest by regulating building and plumbing officials, based on the Association’s history and values, the laws applicable to the organization and its business, and good governance practices.
