A graduate of BCIT, Building Technology, Belinda Moen has worked in local government since starting her career as a Plan Checker with the City of Richmond in 1986. Before relocating to the City of Abbotsford as Manager, Building Inspections, she worked for 10 years as the Senior Building Inspector for the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District. Belinda has continued to upgrade her education and qualifications, and currently is an RBO, a CRBO, holds a WETT certificate for solid fuel burning appliance inspections, a TECA stamp for Residential Ventilation and has completed the Local Government Administration Certificate Program from Capilano University. She has passed the Level 1 Plumbing exam and is working towards writing Level II Plumbing.
In her off time, Belinda enjoys outings, camping and traveling with friends and family, and doing anything or nothing with her grandkids.
