The City of Burnaby is actively recruiting two Assistant Chief Building Inspectors for our Planning and Building Division. As a key member of the Building Departments senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to grow your skill set across a multitude of departmental areas such as Business Process Initiatives, Plan Checking, Customer Service, Inspections and Bylaw Enforcement. This position ensures consistent enforcement of applicable statues and acts as a technical resource in the area of building regulations. The Assistant Chief Building Inspector also supervises and leads a staff team. This is an exciting opportunity to secure a role in a leadership capacity which will allow you to master all facets of the Building Division.
