The Community Energy Association (CEA) has some exciting learning opportunities planned for this fall. Please see details below:

Building Envelope Mockup Expo – Energy Efficient Code-Ready Solutions – in-person in Prince George and Cranbrook. CEA is offering a $50 subsidy for these two expos.

  • September 23, 2026 – Prince George

Come out for CHBA’s Building Envelope Mockup Expo (also known as The Fest), a half-day in-person training event providing flexible, drop-in professional development for Part 9 builders. The Fest encourages guided and self-exploration through a series of hands-on educational stations. These stations showcase a mix of physical or digital building enclosure mock-ups with durable, constructible, and regionally appropriate solutions for higher-R-value assemblies and airtight detailing.
Participants will receive a workbook detailing key learning concepts and resources for future reference and can take part in networking opportunities, a panel discussion, and a “Coffee Corner” for chatting with Energy Advisors.
