CPD Offering – Code Compliance for Modular Construction

The Alliance of Canadian Building Officials’ Association (ACBOA) is pleased to share a complimentary webinar opportunity on January 26th from 12:00pm – 1:00pm (ET) from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA).  The topic is ‘Code Compliance for Modular Construction’.  This is the 4th in a 6-webinar series with the goal of making information on modular construction in Canada more broadly understood and better known within the construction sector. Please click here to register.

“The January 26th webinar is aimed at building officials as it will describe how codes compliance is verified for factory-constructed buildings including provincial variations. It also highlights details that municipal planners and others need to know on siting and zoning, including information on land lease, subdivisions, and transportation, and will explain how the factory certification according to CSA A277 works and what that means for code officials.”

If you have questions that you would like answers to regarding code compliance of factory-constructed houses and buildings, please email these to acboa.execadmin@acboa.ca, and they will be responded to during the webinar, or an email response would be provided if you prefer.
