Presenter’s Bio:

C.G. (Gord) Rattray
Gord became Executive Director of the Manufactured Housing Association of BC in May of 2011.
Gord is professional forester by training and is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology with subsequent training at Simon Fraser University, the University of BC and Edinburgh Business School.
As background for becoming the Executive Director of the MHABC, he grew up working in the family roof truss business. Has extensive experience working in the forest products industry with spent directly with sawmills as well as logging and in the non-profit association management for over 25 years.
He has also renovated homes, hung gyproc, built outbuildings and barns so hopefully has some knowledge in what is required to build a home. Gord also brings a very good understanding of the dynamics of small communities and the major contributions of the private sector to local economies
Gord lives with wife Jody in Maple Ridge and enjoys travelling as well as many other outdoor pursuits including golf, fishing and flying.
