This session introduces a new complimentary course offering for BOABC members, Understanding AI-Assisted Regulatory Workflows, and explores how tools like Trax Codes can support efficient, ethical, and verifiable permit reviews.
We will break down large language models (LLMs) in plain language, distinguish general-use from domain-specific AI, and show where these technologies can safely enhance your workflow. You will see live examples, learn how to write effective prompts for regulatory questions, and take away a simple framework for what, when, how, and which AI tools to use responsibly.
