Compliance confirmation is only as strong as the shared understanding behind it. The EA Exchange brings Building Officials and AHJs into the same room as the Energy Advisors, builders, and designers you work alongside every day — for two days of building science, technical tools, and direct conversation, not just paperwork. Visit CACEA’s website to learn more about the event EA Exchange – CACEA | Canadian Association of Consulting Energy Advisors

The full event includes keynote sessions from Dr. John Straube — Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo and Principal at RDH Building Science Inc. — covering:

•      Smarter Builds: Minimizing Risk in New & Renovation Projects — exploring where well-intentioned decisions lead to common failures, and what a stronger foundational understanding of building science looks like in practice.

•      Building Science and Assemblies — a technical look at assemblies and details, giving you a clearer basis for evaluating what you’re reviewing and approving.

This is also an opportunity to build real working relationships with the Energy Advisor profession — the people producing the compliance reports that cross your desk — and to be part of the broader conversation on strengthening confidence in the compliance process.

Can only make it for a morning? The half-day option (Nov 6, $345 + tax) is a morning session focused entirely on building science with Dr. Straube, with breakfast, a refreshment break, and lunch included — but we’d love to have you for the full two days if your schedule allows.
