Todd Loucks

Before joining the ranks of the Building Officials’ Association of BC in 2014, Todd had the good fortune of working in all three sectors of the construction industry including working as a commercial construction estimator, building envelope technologist, project coordinator and a Trades Qualified Carpenter.  Along with his Architectural Building Engineering Technology diploma from BCIT, and education from Simon Fraser University, Todd believes in having a good balance of both education and work experience.  Todd recently obtained his Registered Building Official (RBO) status with the BOABC in 2019 and continues to develop in his role as a Building Official and Zone Director in the North West, by promoting and attending industry related courses.

Outside of work, Todd is an active member with various community programs, either at the executive level or on the ground, volunteering his time promoting and helping kids programs throughout his community and the North West.

Todd enjoys spending time with his family, participating in numerous outdoor adventure activities with further interest in woodworking and classic Volkswagens.
