Wayne’s current role within the BOABC is Director at Large, a volunteer position that he is proud to hold. Wayne represents members of the BOABC across the Province and works closely with the Executive Committee (Board of Directors) in order to help move the organization forward. Wayne also works as a Building Official on Vancouver Island, having come from a construction background, which helps him relate and understand some of the challenging issues that face today’s builders. Wayne’s goal is to conduct inspections from a non-adversarial approach so that the builders and municipality can work together to provide safe homes for the public.
