Keynote Speakers
Catherine Wreford and Craig Ramsay, known as Team Broadway, are internationally recognized performers whose friendship has spanned decades. Craig, from Harrow, Ontario, trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet before joining Broadway productions such as Mamma Mia, Fiddler on the Roof, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Catherine, a
Winnipeg native, made her Broadway debut in 42nd Street and later starred in Oklahoma! and A Chorus Line.
Catherine’s journey took an unexpected turn in 2013 when she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Rather than stepping away, she returned to the stage, determined to embrace every moment. Craig, a respected fitness
expert and stretch specialist, supported her throughout her battle, reinforcing the power of their bond.
In 2022, they competed in and won The Amazing Race Canada, using the platform to highlight the importance of resilience and advocacy for brain cancer research. Craig continues his work as a performer, author, and trainer, while Catherine remains an active performer and motivational speaker. Together, they share their journey with audiences worldwide, demonstrating that friendship, perseverance, and passion can overcome any obstacle.
BCIT Two-Day Workshop May 23-24, 2026
Course Title: Hands on High Performance Enclosures for Net Zero and Passive House Buildings
Course Description: This two day, in person workshop at the BCIT High Performance Building Lab provides building inspectors and building officials with hands on experience constructing and evaluating high performance enclosure systems. Participants will work through a series of guided lab stations focused on air barriers, thermal control, and low TEDI strategies used in net zero and Passive House buildings.
This is being offered on the Saturday and Sunday prior to the conference at a separate cost.
Cost: $250 plus GST (does not include transportation)
