Building Officials’ Association Act
The Building Officials’ Association of British Columbia is governed by the Building Officials’ Association Act. This Act specifies that the Association assist in developing and maintaining building regulations, promote their uniform interpretation, and provide training and certification for building officials, according to B.C. Laws.
Bylaws
These bylaws are set regulations to govern the Association’s internal affairs and operations.
Code of Ethics
The purpose of the Code of Ethics is to give general statements of the principles of ethical conduct in order that Members may fulfill their duty to the public, the profession and the members of the Association.
Building Act
The Building Act brings greater consistency for technical building requirements and improves how construction codes are understood and applied around B.C.
Administrative Agreement
This agreement detail responsibilities, obligations, and procedures for the execution and oversight of Association administrative functions.
Policies
These policies provide clear guidelines and rules for decision-making, behavior, and operations within the Association.
