Colin Doylend

Colin Doylend is an experienced leader and innovator in the affordable housing sector, with a strong track record of developing and implementing sustainable housing solutions for underserved communities. As the Managing Director of the Rapid Housing Foundation, Colin has championed innovative programs that leverage modular construction, creative financing models, and strategic partnerships to address housing shortages.

As the former Chief of Staff to Provincial Ministers, senior communications advisor with BC Hydro, advisor with Corix Utilities and Johnson Controls, Colin has gained extensive experience and knowledge in relation to all aspects of government policy and implementation within industry. With extensive experience in off-site construction and new technologies, Colin has served as the Solutions Director of several off-site construction and clean technology companies.

Colin also serves as a director of the Chartered Institute of Housing for Canada, a member of the Canadian Construction Materials Evaluation Committee, a director with the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights, and a board director with the Mount Douglas Seniors Housing Society. These roles reflect his commitment to advancing affordable housing through industry leadership and collaboration.
