Matheus Alfred-Olmedo and Luke Dolan of Capital Home Energy present key strategies for designing and constructing Part 9 buildings that comply with Step 4 & EL-3 of the BC Energy Step Code and Zero Carbon Step Code. This session includes a comparison of Step 3 & Step 4 specifications, with practical methods to reliably meet Step 4 & EL-3 requirements. It also includes a review of the overheating requirements outline in Section 9.33.3.1 (2), along with recommended compliance strategies.
