CHBA’s Net Zero for Building Officials online, self-directed training course has been designed to support building officials in understanding the requirements of the CHBA Net Zero Home Labelling Program (NZHLP), how these homes differ from ones built to meet minimum building code, and how builders and energy advisors are leveraging the Net Zero Home Labelling Program to optimize building performance, cost, buildability, and scalability. You’ll explore technical aspects such as wall assemblies, building envelopes and ventilation systems that underlie the Net Zero Home Labelling Program (and that meet and can exceed the National Building Code 2020 9.36 Tier 4 compliance).
