Presentation Description: Introduction to Firestop concepts, building codes and latest innovations from Hilti for the Firestop applications in our industry

Presenters’ Bios:

Sreeni Gopinath is one of the two Fire Protection Specialists with Hilti Canada and largely looks after the business development of Firestop Business for contractors in Lower Mainland, Victoria and Okanagan providing technical support, training & site visits
He has been with Hilti Canada for the past 4 years & served in the capacity of Account Manager for Building Construction trade, prior to his current role as Fire Protection Specialist & has extensive direct sales experience spanning over 17 years in the field of Construction, Oil & Gas & Hospitality sector
Sreeni Gopinath holds a Bachelors in technology degree from Thompson Rivers University and a Master’s in Business Administration from S.P Jain School of Global Management, Australia

Paul Mir is also a Fire Protection Specialists with Hilti Canada who looks after the development of Firestop Business for contractors in Lower Mainland providing technical support, training & site visits.

He has been with Hilti Canada since Feb 2022. He was a Project Manager prior to his current role as Fire Protection Specialist and has extensive experience in engineering and construction in the field of Steel prefabrication, Heavy Civil, industrial, Oil & Gas & petrochemical sector.

Paul holds a BEng Civil Engineering with Project Management, and Master Science in offshore Structures from Royal Naval University (University of Greenwich, UK)
