Originally from Colombia, Tatiana is a regulatory compliance professional, paralegal, and licensed lawyer in Colombia with over eight years of experience in professional regulation, investigations, governance, and legal practice. Before joining the Association, she worked at the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC), where she began as a practicum student and progressed through roles including Illegal Practice Officer, Professional Conduct Officer, and most recently, Conduct and Discipline Officer.
Before moving to Canada, Tatiana practiced as a lawyer in Colombia at Mineros S.A., focusing on administrative and contract law, environmental licensing, and corporate transactions.
Tatiana holds a Law Degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia, along with postgraduate diplomas in Environmental and Administrative Law. In Canada, she earned a Paralegal Diploma with Distinction from Capilano University and is completing the Investigation & Enforcement Skills Associate Certificate at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. She is also a member of the BC Paralegal Association.
