Trevor is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He began his career as a Building Official working for the District of North Vancouver in the role of Plan Reviewer. Following this, he moved to the City of Port Moody as a Building Official, which involved working as a Plan Reviewer and Building Inspector and also conducting plumbing inspections and plan reviews. Trevor has also held various supervisory and managerial roles with local government. As well, he has worked as an instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, instructing on building code courses. He is currently the Director, Building Permits and Licences with the City of Abbotsford. Trevor obtained his Registered Building Official designation as well his Level 2 plumbing official certification in 2017.
In addition to his work as a Building Official, Trevor has also served as a reserve officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. In his role with the Cadet Instructor Cadre, Trevor has mentored and coached youth and young adults across the Province of BC. He was also elected as the first ever Lower Mainland Regional Councillor for the Cadet Instructor Cadre Branch Association of BC (the professional association for Cadet Instructor Cadre officers in BC). Following this, he was further elected and served as a Vice-President, President, and Past-President of that association.
In his spare time, Trevor enjoys travelling and spending time with his friends and family.
Trevor resides in Port Moody with his wife and daughter.
