This session explores the thermal control layer of the building envelope and how insulation choices influence heat flow, comfort, and overall energy performance. We’ll look at how material selection and detailing strategies affect continuity, installation quality, and compliance with code intent.
Whether in plan review or on site, this session will help participants better understand how the thermal layer fits within the broader system of Part 9 building envelope control layers.
