Robyn has been a member of the BOABC for almost 20 years. She received her RBO status in 2007 and her CRBO in 2010. She is also a certified Level 2 Plumbing Official since 2008. Robyn holds a Diploma of Technology from BCIT in Building Engineering Technology – Building Science and a Certificate of Local Government Administration from Capilano University.
After growing up in a “construction family” Robyn started her career in 2001 with the City of Surrey as a residential plan checker. In 2003 she moved to the City of Port Moody working in various roles and is now the Manager of Building, Bylaw and Licensing.
Robyn currently sits on various local committees including the BC Energy Step Code subcommittees for Compliance and Energy Advisor and Part 9 and helped in the development of the BC Energy Step Code Handbook for Building Officials.
Robyn is excited to be given the opportunity to work with the BOABC Executive and the Membership.
