CPD Opportunity – Building Smart: Updates to the BC Building Code: Lateral Bracing Requirements in Part 9 Buildings

This webinar hosted by BC Housing will focus on the recent changes to Part 9 of the BC Building Code, including new lateral bracing methods for seismic loads, updated climatic data accounting for climate change, and specified wind and snow loads. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to implement these new Code requirements.

The session will be led by experts from Natural Resources Canada (NRC), the University of Ottawa and the Canadian Wood Council.
