COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATIONS -PEARSON VUE TEST CENTRES
***NEW*** On May 18th, an email was sent to all BOABC members regarding this announcement.
Please be advised that as a result of the implementation of PRONTO, all authorization and scheduling for Computer based testing (CBT) through PearsonVue test sites will not be available after June 1st 2018.
This means that:
- All BOABC members who have been previously authorized for these exams, but who have not yet scheduled their exam MUST schedule their exam prior to June 1.
- After June 1, any exams that have been authorized, but not scheduled for CBT/PV, will be automatically moved to PRONTO for the member to schedule using their email address here: https://prontobc.ysasecure.com/login
- Members who already have scheduled exam dates with PearsonVue testing centres, will NOT be affected and their testing dates will be available. Rescheduling will not be permitted after June 1. All Exams must be paid for by June 1st.
Building Official Association members who wish to take examinations must be pre-authorized by the BOABC before being provided access to register and schedule their exam with the testing center. Pre-authorization verifies candidates are current members in good standing and eligible to write the requested exam.
