Colin has been on the BOABC Executive Board since 2008. He was the Vancouver Island North Zone Director for 5 years and is now the BOABC Treasurer. Colin has been working as a Building Official since 2003, starting with the City of Nanaimo. He is now with the Town of Ladysmith working as the Senior Building Inspector and Bylaw Compliance Officer. Highlights with respect to the BOABC for Colin have been achieving his Registered Building Official (RBO) designation in 2008 and seeing the Province bring in mandatory certification for Building Officials in BC.
