The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC (CHBA BC) and the Building Officials’ Association of BC (BOABC) are pleased to present the 2nd annual Education Summit for builders and building officials in BC. The Education Summit returns this fall on October 23 & 24, 2024, at the Sheraton Richmond Airport Hotel, in Richmond, B.C.
Gathering members from BOABC and CHBA BC, this Summit is your chance to learn about building code advancements, earn continuing professional development points, and connect with experts in the industry!

This event will spotlight topics such as wildfire resistance for part 9 residential buildings, single egress for low to midrise MURBs, and adaptability in dwellings. The agenda is not currently available, but will be posted once it is updated. Registered attendees will receive email updates.
A Networking Reception will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on October 23, 2024. This event will bring together building officials, builders, and students to network.
