This year’s MHABC Summit will be back in the interior and held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort and Conference Centre April 29 to May 1, 2024. With advanced efforts, MHABC are poised to present a comprehensive solution at this year’s conference.
The focus is on expediting home construction, particularly through small-scale and multi-unit housing (SSMUH) and transit-oriented developments across all municipalities. The government has also called for standardized designs from consultants to streamline the permitting process and reduce costs, acknowledging that this will require time.
