This session will focus on the recent rescinding of the Architects Act and the impact the new Architects Regulation may have on the building industry and permit processing. We are pleased to have Tony Giroux, Administrator for BCABD Building Designers, outline the creation of the new Regulation and how it impacts the areas of Part 9 Design. We will also discuss Letters of Assurance requirements as outlined within the Administration Provisions (Div C) 2.2.7.1 of the BC Building Code in relation to Part 9 projects.
